Massage is not intended as a replacement for everyday medical care and we recommend that if you are receiving medical treatment you discuss with your GP if you are considering massage.
Based in Warwick we provide remedial and sports massage working with a wide range of injuries, aches and pains. We also provide pregnancy massage (full body and abdominal).
Massage is a natural, non evasive and safe form of
therapy. It is considered part of complementary and alternative medicine and is increasingly offered for a wide range of medical conditions and situations.
It is thought that massage stimulates the various body systems and aids digestion, waste removal, circulation, relaxes muscles, releases stress and tension, aids sleep, helps relaxation and promotes a feeling of wellbeing.

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) published guidelines in May 2009 to improve the early management of persistent non-specific low back pain.
The guidelines recommend care and advice which the NHS should offer to people who are affected by lower back pain.
NICE assessed the safety, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of treatments which are available and one recommendation is to offer a course of manual therapy. Manual therapy was used to collectively refer to massage, spinal manipulation, and spinal mobilisation.
(Please note that manipulation can only be carried out by osteopaths, chiropractors or by doctors and physiotherapists who have undergone specialist postgraduate training in manipulation. Manipulation is not a technique is given as part of sports massage.)A full copy of the NICE clinical guidelines can be found at http://www.nice.org.uk/nicemedia/live/11887/44343/44343.pdf
"I'd been suffering with plantarfascitis for months which gave me very painfull feet in the mornings and made it difficult to walk first thing. After 1 treatment my pain was significantly reduced and what followed was my first painfree morning for weeks! I was also given after care advice on how to manage things so that I could help myself and take preventative measures for the future. Thanks Revive!" -- Lisa H.
"I had been having on and off back pain for weeks. Within a couple of treatments my back was so much better. It was such a relief to be rid of the nagging pain I had been putting up with. Thank you Revive." -- Ann, Warwick
"I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing pre-natal (pregnancy) massage at around 20 weeks into my pregnancy. With her experience and intuition, Clare applied the perfect balance between knowing what techniques would work for me and listening to my specific needs so that she could tailor my massage. I will certainly be booking again before my baby is arrives!" Emma L.
